Annie Potts Critics Choice 2019

Actress Annie Potts got her start in 1978 when she played Vanessa in the comedy, "Corvette Summer" co-starring with Mark Hamill. She was nominated for a Golden Globe Award for that role. Annie then played the wife of a stock car racer in, "Heartaches" in 1982. Her roles in film and television kept coming and so did the awards. To date, she has been credited in over 100 movie and TV projects. Most recently, she appears as Meemaw in the "Young Sheldon" spinoff, and as Sharon Elkin in "The Fosters". She also has completed work on "Toy Story 4", as the voice of Bo Peep, In the TV movie "Distefano" she plays Helen. She is also in the TV movie "Paging Dr. Freed.

Glenn Close has been a household name for over 40 years. From broadway to film, her career says perfection. Early on in her career, she was often seen on Broadway. The in 1984 she was cast as Jenny Fields in "The World According to Garp" with Robin Williams, for which she went on to receive an Academy Award Nomination for Best Supporting Actress. From then until the present time she has enjoyed endless success in at least 84 credits for her work in Film and Television as an actress, director, producer, sound department, and writing.

Laurie Metcalf is best known for playing, Jacqueline "Jackie" Harris in the television series "Roseanne" for which she was nominated for two Golden Globe Awards and won three Primetime Emmy Awards.  More recently, she is known for playing Marion McPherson in the film "Lady Bird", for which she was nominated for an Academy Award, a Golden Globe Award, a SAG Award, and a BAFTA Award.

Singer-songwriter, musician, and record producer, Linda Perry was the lead singer and songwriter of 4 Non Blondes. She composed and produced hit songs for many artists that include: Christina Aguilera, Gwen Stefani and Pink, Adele, Alicia Keys, and Courtney Love among others. Perry was also inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2015. Last year Linda Perry collaborated with Dolly Parton, writing several songs for the soundtrack to the Netflix film "Dumplin" as well as "Girl In The Movies" which was nominated for a Golden Globe.
