William Lipton is one of the brightest new stars to light up America's TV screens in 2019. Less than one year after winning the role of Cameron Webber on ABC's General Hospital he was nominated for a Daytime Emmy Award for "Outstanding Younger Actor in a Drama Series".
Although William is a relative newcomer as a regular on a major national daytime TV series, he is no stranger to the art of performing.
In addition to his acting career, William Lipton is a talented singer, songwriter, and musician and performs a solo artist and with his band WJM which he founded with his friends Jeremy and Max. They started when William was only six years old and WJM are going stronger than ever. They want to help bring about change through their music by supporting charities that benefit children in different ways. They have donated directly to these organizations and were awarded a Youth Social Activism award by the Novus Summit held at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, New York for their conscientious charitable work.
He has performed with several musical theater companies in the bay area. His credits include: "You're a Good Man Charlie Brown, ACT's "A Christmas Carol," Broadway By the Bay's "Les Misérables," and "The Who's Tommy" by OMG I Love That Show! Productions according to ABC's website.
William's Lipton's independent film work includes the role of Alfred Thatcher in James Franco's indie film, "The Adventures of Thomasina Sawyer".
William has a second-degree (Don) black belt in Taekwondo. He enjoys fitness training, and spending time with his friends whenever time permits. In another interview William recently said, “I just really hope that I’ll be continuing doing what I love.” You will William… You will!
